***** to find out the person giving bad info out isnt even the person who does the paperwork or have the knowledge or how things work. Only to find out later by someone else she isnt the leasing agent. I was 100% clear about my intentions and was told my $500 deposit was refundable by ******** directly. I made it clear I was looking for a home, but if that didnt work out Id have their place to fall back on. So if you arent 100% sure about move in and looking to buy instead please dont give them any money to hold. 'They are gonna say the same thing Im telling you' is what Ive been told. Also the number they keep asking me to call to discuss is the office line on location and they refuse to have a supervisor call me. What do you guys think?Update see picture. So currently they have two deposits for the same apartment and that seems super sketchy to me. I knocked on his door on the 5th and he was nice enough to anwser some of my question about when he moved in. I went to the apartment I was suppose to be renting this month and someone else is already living there. I never signed anything and was never given a receipt for my cashiers check either. Currently Im seeking legal aid to get my deposit back. They told me theyd have a supervisor call me, but no one has contacted me and its been weeks.

Now I'm getting snubbed by the office staff about my money back. During the time I was waiting to move in I found a house to buy and changed my mind. I never saw the apartment and I never signed a lease. I was shown a 2bed 2bath but I was renting a 1bed 1bath. I was told at the time my money was refundable, because I made the comment I was looking to buy a house also, and that would be the only reason I would change my mind. I was approved and was told I needed to give them $500 to hold the apartment. I filled out an application for a background and credit check.

So I said that is fine I'm not in a hurry. I was told they didn't have anything until July 1st. 4 months ago I went to Eden Square looking for a place to live closer to my work. 2 minutes agoNEW I'd score lower if possible.
